As New Year’s Eve is only two days away, I couldn’t help but think about what my dream outfit would be. Each year I normally go out shopping for the perfect glitzy new years eve look. But, since this year I lost track of time and don’t have the luxury of doing such a thing I wanted to share with you what my dream outfit for New Year’s Eve 2017 would be.
Most glamour girls feel as if they need to dress from head to toe in sequins, sparkles, crystals (oh my) to fit the bill for New Year’s Eve, but this is not true! You can still shine as bright at the dropping Swarovski crystal ball in times square without being literal. Subtle metallics and sparkly jewelry and accessories play up the festive vibe of the new year without going over board (BCBG Max Azria Dress / Botkier Earrings/Stuart Weitzman Shoes/Nest Bangles/Hue Tights). Shimmery cosmetics are also a way to sparkle and shine without looking like you are trying to hard just like this perfectly flirty YSL lip gloss. It’s the perfect accessory to play up the whole – “I’m single and ready to mingle” attitude for singletons and for those in relationships, it’s a fun way to match your date. What would be more fabulous than a statement coat, too? I’m obsessed with the fur of Shrimps and this coat adds a lot of fun and color to any look at any time especially on New Years Eve! There are millions of looks I could have gone for on my favorite night of the year but I decided to go for a prim and proper elegance with a hint or rock and roll!
