When I was a child, receiving arts and craft kits of all kinds were honestly the best presents I could have received! I was a total art kid; theater & visual! My parents and gradparents cultivated my creativity by always taking me to museums, broadway shows, Disney on ice, you name it…including taking me shopping to every art store I could get access to, multiple times a year. This was all heaven for me! It couldn’t get any better! So, when looking through the Toy’s “R” Us Holiday catelog each year the first priducts I would circle would be the ultimate art kits that came with all of the colored pencils, chalk, charcole, paint, crayons, and markets one’s heart could desire! The bigger the better! As I grew older and began taking art from a fun activity to a career shopping for ChartPak markers and such for my fashion design classes was like being a big kid in a candy store of art mediums.
So, as I learned about this exclusive Karl Lagerfeld Ultimate 350 Pencils Chinese wedding chest, my youthful and high fashion heart exploded with joy, bringing me back to the good old days of carrying my 300 peice art kit to my grandparents houses for sleepovers!
This box contains 350 Faber-Castell tools drawing and painting, housed in a sleek black wooden box that resembles a Chinese wedding cabinet.
Starting today, for the retail price of 2,500 euros, or $2,850.00 — ONLY 2,500 kits will be made and sold exclusively at Faber-Castell retailers, Karl Lagerfeld boutiques and Harrods in London, select department and specialty stores including Breuninger in Stuttgart, Jelmoli in Zurich, Le Bon Marché in Paris and Gump’s in San Francisco will also carry the box set from Sept. 19th 2016.
