On June 15, the 10th annual Independent Handbag Designer Awards took place at the School of Visual Arts Theater in New York City. Fashion Industry elite, professionals and handbag enthusiasts alike flocked to the awards show to view the designs of the next generation of handbag designers. This year they were in for a pure treat! Each designer was extremely unique and brought their own charm, style and sophistication to their well crafted bag.

 Emily Blumenthal, founder of the IHDA created the ultimate platform for independent and bright eyed handbag designers. Her passion for wanting the world to be a more stylish place, one purse at a time is truly inspiring. This year’s awards show was spectacular with designers ranging from the US and internationally.
