It was a fun 2nd day at New York Fashion Week. I first headed to Moynihan Station in the morning to see Tadashi Shoji. As I arrived I noticed I was seated near a few friends of mine which made the morning much more cheerful! I use the word cheerful for it was so freezing outside at 10AM that everyone was a tad grumpy and just completely over the arctic chill that was happening and that was only about to get worse in the upcoming days! I saw my friend Liz (thebrooklynstylist.com) who I waved to come sit next to me because there was an open seat! Sharing fashion tips and comparing favorites from a show is always fun with her. After the show I was re-introduced to Alison (allycog.com) by Liz and the three of us decided to grab coffee at the local Starbucks to unwind and re-energize for the long day of shows that was ahead. Schmoozing about more fashion, our careers, and lives was really nice and a great way to spend the morning. Thanks so Liz, we also learned about a new and innovative app called – VillageLuxe. An app where fellow fashion enthusiasts in your city can lend you their designer goods straight from their closets! I can’t wait to sign up for VillageLuxe – I believe this is a new wave of the future of fashion. As we continued to schmooze Photographers Rima Brindamour, Cindy You and our other blogger friend Emily (AccessoriesGal.com) stopped by to join us. We shortly after decided to a photo shoot outside of the Post Office. The weather was a bit warmer at this time so I was able to take my coat off – which I was very happy about. I decided to wear my parka and although it is a nice coat, I wouldn’t say it exactly went with the theme of my outfit. I decided to go practical instead of trendy. Rima and Cindy took turns taking our pictures of us having lots of fun on these iconic New York City Landmark Steps. As we neared the end of the shoot Meaghan (districtsparkle.com) ran up to join in on the fun making the NYC & DC sandwich complete!
After this fun shoot we headed over to Nick and Stef’s to have some lunch and tea. Lots more fun girl talk took place as well as snap-chatting lessons! It was a truly a lovely afternoon. It also wouldn’t be a lunch with fellow fashion blogger friends without a staged table photo of all of our accessories perfectly placed. We call this masterpeice
