Hello Lovies:
I grew up wearing turtlenecks. It was the ultimate fall and winter staple garment in the Senders’ home. As I grew older I still wore them in the cold winter months. I even had them for the spring too. Most who I knew never liked wearing turtlenecks or thought they were “nerdy” or “dorky”. I never understood how such a classic and sophisticated garment could be construed as such. When I started college in 2006 I bought a few from target and have had them ever since. I wore them all the time whether going out for dinner or a job interview. They never failed. As the years progressed it became harder and harder to find turtlenecks in stores. So, having them be the biggest staple trend of Fall/Winter 2016 has me feeling all the feels this season! I’m so overly excited that what I have been wearing my entire life is finally making a comeback! Wahooo! It is about time!! To me, the turtleneck symbolizes effortless sophistication that can be paired with anything and everything!
