If anyone could design the most perfect “girly girl”, fun, and spunky wedding collection, it sure would, without a doubt be, Betsey Johnson! Her new I Do Betsey Blue collection consists of the most adorable accessories and lingerie. From every style of show you can think of, to panties, robes, nighties, jewelry, luggage, travel sets, handbags, tiaras, jewelry, and home decor, Betsey has you covered from head to toe (minus the wedding gown) to celebrate your special day in true Betsey Babe style! Her hand bags and makeup bags (in the accessory department) had to be my favorite. Designed with cute sayings such, bridesmaid and I do are great gifts for your wedding party. But an eye catcher was most definitely the clutch with LED lights blinking “wifey”! Now, don’t even get me started on the table wear! Oh-Em.Gee!!! I want everything! This is not a joke! I honestly stood by the table for a good 10 minutes just drooling over everything (expression) and wondering how I could incorporate this into my life. From flatware to plate and bowl sets, to coasters, mugs, wine glasses and serving trays – for the Bride to Be that has class and style who also loves to have fun – this is the perfect gift for her! Ya know, it’s always nice to give gifts that are not on a Wedding Registry! The couple needs other items as well. Plus, this would absolutely be a gift they are not expecting and will gladly be surprised with and love!
The evening was so much fun, with tunes of songs you’d expect to hear at a wedding like “September” by Earth, Wind and Fire, “Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough” by Michael Jackson, “Single Ladies” by Beyonce, “Dancing Queen” by Abba, and so many more dance songs that I just flipped over and was the only one dancing to! I tried starting a dance party, but I failed! (hahaha) My favorite song that played was “Chapel of Love” by The Shireless – which Betsey also used in her Spring 2015 runway show! I have a personal connection to that song. It was the first song I did a dance routine too, when I was in dancing school at the age of 3. It was a tap number that I loved so dearly! If I find a picture of the costume I will show it to you guys on Instagram! There was also a lovely spread of food to replicate a formal cocktail party, balloons and streamers galore, and enough champagne to fill you for a year! There was also a fun photo booth which I obviously took part in! It was a simply perfect and all very Betsey Johnson!
A highlight of the evening though was when speaking with Betsey, a she always does – she grabs onto my hair and pretends its hers ( as you can see in the photo above) and asks me if she can have some to borrow for her extensions! It’s definitely something to be very flattered about and a fun way to interact! She’s such a blast to be with a truly wonderful and kind spirit to be around! She’s the one of a kind, Betsey Johnson!
Thank you so much for having me and allowing to be part of such a fun and memorable evening! I can’t wait till the next one!
