Happy Halloween my lovely readers,
I’ve had many fun Halloween costumes throughout my 27years, but this year’s costume has to be my favorite! I always wanted to be an artist for Halloween but just never had the opportunity (or time) to make the idea of the costume perfect. The past two Halloweens I had a cold so my dreams of making this costume a reality were crushed. Since, this Halloween I was ready to rumble I went for it without any details missed.
I ran to WalMart and found the largest men’s button-down down I could find to act like a dress/smock, socks, sneakers & lots of paint, brushes, crystals & a pallet. After my purchase, I ran home and worked on making my costume from 4pm-12am! Yes, it took eight hours! It needed to be perfect! I painted my socks & shirt and applied crystals to my shoes and the collar and pocket of my shirt/smock. I added and glued paintbrushes into my pocket and glues a piece of velvet elastic to the button of my pallet to turn it into a bracelet. Continuing to accessorize my costume I wore a black sequin beret I’ve had for many years along with a bright pink scarf my grandmother gave me (that was hers in the 50’s). these accessories added to the Parisian flair!
HERE’S A PEAK INTO MY NIGHT WITH FRIENDS!
