On the Wednesday before New York Fashion Week began, my friend and fellow fashion blogger Martha Luna of MDollNYC gathered a group of her closest friends for an evening of fun and delicious food held at Bellini on the Upper West Side. Personal invitations were mailed to each of her guests designed by DandEPapel that set the tone for the evening. Upon arrival guests were greeted by a personally decorated dais table with place-cards made by Selfie-Cookie. Each box of cookies had one #dinewithmdoll cookie and the other with the guests head-shot. In addition personalized bracelets with their initials were designed by me (Dara Senders) for each guest to wear. To top off the place-setting was a menu of the delicious line up of food we were all about to savor, also made by DandEPapel. With each dish presented, the food became tastier and tastier. I did not want it to end. From a yellow gazpacho and a burrata platter as appetizers and chicken piccata as my main course, the food was just delicious! I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to family and friends and can’t wait to go back.
As we all gathered around the table being brought together by great food and cocktails by Real Cocktails, conversations about empowerment, business goals, and what it means to be successful in today’s day and age were discussed along with lots of laughter. It was truly a great evening with wonderful people from all walks of life. I look forward to seeing all of these new and old friends again very soon.
