On Thursday, May 7th my friend and fellow fashion blogger Martha (mdollnyc.com) invited me to attend a beautiful luncheon at Jazz at Lincoln Center in the Time Warner Building – honoring the 20th Anniversary of the high school educational japp program – Essentially Ellington. The afternoon was bright and sunny which aided in making the days events all the more beautiful and cheerful. In store for the 11:30am event was a day great music (which is probably a bigger part of my life than fashion), delicious food (which I wasnt able to eat because only nut filled and fish entrees were served – but I was told it was very tasty), and wonderful conversations among like-minded professional women, especially at our table which was beautifully set and adorned with pretty floral centerpieces and tea desserts. It was a musically enriched and empowering luncheon that I was equally honored to attend.
