Day 5 on Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week was a very cold and gloomy day – weather wise! Inside the tents it was anything but. Today’s course of shows included Dennis Basso, Ready to Fish, Pamela Rolland, and Vivienne Tam. With these designers, I knew I was in for a luxurious treat, so what better way than to view these gems of designers than with having my mother come along for the fun. I love it when my mom (aka Mamma Marci – as my friends have nicknamed her) comes with me to fashion shows. We share a lot of the same interests in design and love for glamorous, dreamy, smart and sophisticated fashion. Plus, she loves Dennis Basso so I just had to take her as my date.
For Today’s look I wanted to go classic-sophisticated with a pop of formality and fun. Which is why I paired this Eloquii Motto jacket with quilted details with a matching quilted A-Line skirt. To warm it up I took to my trust turtle neck for a more modest touch. Accessorizing with a colorful handbag and jewelry made the all black look go from mysterious to powerful!
