HAPPY VALENTINES DAY YA’LL!!
TODAY IS THE DAY WHERE WE ALL DRESS UP IN 50+ SHADES OF RED (including pink) AND STUFF OUR FACES WITH BOXES OF CHOCOLATE – if you’re single like me. Or if you’re a fashion girl, you’re still wearing shades of red and pink and flocking to a show at fashion week as if it were your hot date. Well it is our hot date. We had a hot date with fashion! My day began with Jay Godfrey in the morning, Noon by Noor, Son Jung Wan, The Style Coalition and Vidal Sassoon beauty Lounge at the Empire Hotel, Mara Hoffman, Asia Fashion Collection, and Vanexiana. As I left the tents to grab lunch it was snowing. For those of you who do not know, I LOVE SNOW!!! So this was the most perfect way to spend part of my Valentine’s Day – in the snow!
Today’s Look was one of my favorites of the week. Besides the fact that I am dressed head to toe in Eloquii which happens to be one of my favorite new brands for the curvier girl like myself, I just love the professional, sophisticated, playfulness of how each garment was paired. Taking an elongated fitted blazer with gold zipper accents and black paneling and juxtaposing it with a sweet red chiffon button down with a black heart print and leggings with leather and zipper accents made for the perfect Valentine’s Day work look. I was going to wear a dress but it was just too cold! Adding accessories like my favorite Lisa Freede Jewels, Swarovski sunglasses, and my favorite red Lauren Cecchi Mezzo bag made the whole outfit pop and come together! I thought this was the perfect way to dress my my February 14th at Lincoln Center and new York Fashion Week.
What I wore:
Eloquii: Blazer, Floating Hearts Blouse, Miracle Flawless Ankle Zip Legging – Sunglasses: Swarovski – Purse: Lauren Cecchi – Jewelry: Lisa Freede – Shoes: Circa Joan & David (similar pair linked)
A BIG THANK YOU TO THE STYLE COALITION AND VIDAL SASSOON SALON FOR STYLING MY HAIR “RUNWAY READY”!!!
