During the week of New York Fashion Week I had the great opportunity of attending
GBK’s Fun and Fresh Luxury Gift and Style Lounge at the
Empire Hotel hosted by
Pilot Pen. It was a great way to rest my tired feet, learn aboutnewandinnovative brands while being pampered all in the same breath.
As I walked in the atmosphere was relaxed yet with a sense of fun. The first booth that caught my eye was
Pilot Pen. They had a beautiful set up that displayed all of they new pen styles vividly. Their representative Allison was very quick to teach me all abouteach of the pens on display including a dress thatwas constructed our of Pilot Pens designed by Nicholas K. Guests received aFriXion Clicker, an erasable pen that is uniquely designed to write smooth and erase clean,as well as the stylish MR Animal Collection of writing instruments thatare designed to provoke your wild side while providing high style and delivering superior writing performance, and an elegant tri-fold Pilot Journal for your writing pleasure. I will now be ready to take notes and sketch wherever I go!
The 2nd booth that definitely caught my eye was
Hard Candy! Their set up was fabulous with overflowing wall makeup for guests totry and a styling bar for guests to have their hair and makeup retouched and nails done. Since I had just did my makeup before I headed over to the event I chose for the Hard Candy team to fix my hair! They did an incredible job! I left feeling runway ready! For those of you thatmay not be familiar with Hard Candy; Hard Candy is a lifestyle brand anchored by an edgy cosmetics collection that has redefined makeup in the mass market. In addition to a full cosmetic assortment, Hard Candy offers apparel, eyeglass frames, sportswear and more.
Another company that caught my eye was
Michael Todd True Organics® ! I have always wanted to try a face brush but have been skeptical about them. The representatives from the company educated me about their
