On a beautiful spring day my longest time friend came up for a visit from Rochester, NY! We decided to take a stroll on the Highline to enjoy the view of Manhattan, catch up and take lots of pictures which is pretty true to form for us gals!! As we walked through the urban gardens we inquired about all of the little food carts stationed under the underpass while eating the lunch we brought with us! There was also a saxophone player serenading all his passersby! It was a very windy day which made it hard to eat but we made do! Our mommies were with us making it more if an enjoyable day! A few days later we went to Sally Lunn’s Tea House in Chester, NJ for a ladies lunch with some delicious tea & crumpets! It was dainty and a perfect way to spend the afternoon! Plus it was super sweet ending the day at the Candy Shoppe where we spent time reminiscing about childhood sweets we haven’t seen since 1995.
