Dara’s Sent Style: Passover Style of 2014

This Pesach I spent the 1st sedar with my parents. My mom cooked a delicious meal and it was nice to be just the three of us although it would have been lots more fun with our extended family around the table. The second sedar we spent with our best family friends in their home in Pottersville, New Jersey. It was so lovely being around the sedar table singing and reading from the Huggudah while eating delicious food catching up even though we only saw each other a few days earlier. On this night I decided to wear a Fashion to Figure black and white striped blazer with red patches on the sleeves. I accompanied my blazer with a black tank maxi dress from Forever 21 (similar). It’s very funny you see, I have had both of these items hanging in my closet for about a year, never liking them with anything after I purchased them. I guess it’s the miracle of the Jewish holidays, I finally figured out how to wear each item together to compliment my figure. To accessorize I wore my brand, Dara Senders New York jewels (shown below) to give the monochromatic look a pop of sparkle. In addition I wore my favorite ankle booties from Matisse Footwear. 20140420-204521.jpgThe Alison Necklace in Silvie & The Ruthie Hand-Jewels by Dara Senders New York

As us kids get older into adulthood, our families still think of us as children because we are their children. But, at least this was the 1st sedar in a very long time that I didn’t have to read the four questions. I’m usually the baby of the bunch so it’s usually my task. This year was different, at least for the 2nd night!

Happy Pesach/Passover to all!!
