Gabriela Cadena is a New York based fashion label designed by Latin American designer Gabriela Cadena. Gabriela Cadena was born in Ecuador and studied design in Europe. She currently splits her time between New York and Miami, but calls the lower Manhattan Tribeca neighborhood her home.

Since the launch of her line, Cadena has attracted a high profile celebrity following which includes Shakira, Nina Dobrev, Miranda Kerr, Selita Ebanks, Carrie Underwood, Petra Nemcova, Lindsey Wixson, Busy Phillips, Genevieve Jones and Oh Land. These ladies and many others have worn her beautiful gowns at key events world-wide such as the Emmy Awards, Cannes Film Festival, Golden Globes, SAG Awards and the Oscars. Most recently, cadena dressed Camila Alves as her husband, Matthew McConaughey won for Best Actor at the 2014 Academy Awards! Who could forget that beautiful blush toned gown? It was so sophisticated and classy, while being modest and sexy, yet it didn’t take away any youthful essence Camila has. It was just perfection!

The Gabriela Cadena collection is a bold and eclectic blend of classic elegance with innovative, edgy and sexy yet modern silhouettes. Cadena’s design vision is to blend traditional high fashion glamour with every day wear-ability and style. All of her designs are infused with her signature vivid color palettes and eccentric prints. Every look encompasses unique accents, elaborate embroidery and complex symmetry, yet her silhouettes are fresh, simple and easy to wear. Gabriela Cadena’s vision is to design clothes that are in a way a rebellious celebration of femininity and that do more than simply inspire your style, but also transform your mood – redefining fashion into something you not only see but also feel.
