MBFW F/W 14 – CHARLOTTE RONSON

_DSC1730We were so happy to attend Charlotte Ronson’s Fall 2014 presentation at The Hub in the Hudson Hotel. The presentation consisted of both a presentation and a perpetual runway. Onlookers could get close enough to touch each pieces as walked down the short runway.

Charlotte Ronson is known best for her pretty, feminine and ultra hip clothing that is extremely wearable and comfortable, too. It is true to form for Ronson to design clothing that has lots of popping colors with an indie chic edge, however for Fall 2014 Charlotte went dark and sultry; still exuding the lines femininity. The collection which consisted of lots of velvet, leather and deep hues of black, cranberry, navy with a light touch of gray was inspired by a dark fairy-tale romance. You can absolutely see which garments were designed for a villain and a bohemian princess.

Our favorite looks were a fit-and-flare black leather dress with a laser-cut skirt, a blue and black sheer striped sheath, a soigné black sheath with a sheer neckline and pussycat bow and a black maxi gown with a delicate lace overlay.

The atmosphere was popping and the guests ranged from the Paris and Nikki Hilton, Jamie Chung, Miss America 2014, Jessie Metcalf and Dani Stahl, just to name a few. Oh, and of course Charlotte’s sister Sam Ronson was there DJing throughout the entire evening.

Thank you for inviting us to such a great event, we loved the collection and we look forward to Charlotte Ronson’s Spring 2015 collection!

See you then!
