PETER PILOTTO FOR TARGET LAUNCH PARTY

British luxury brand Peter Pilotto is designing his outrageous prints for a new target. and by a new target, we mean Target! {Or (tar-jay) as many people in my family like to call it!} On Thursday, February 6th 2014 Target and Net-A-Porter hosted a beautiful fete for the men behind the label, Christopher De Vos and Peter Pilotto at NYC’s famed Gotham Hall.  As guested entered the venue a massive stage built under the most beautiful chandelier showcased the brand’s collection in the round, as models made their way in rotation to Farrell’s song “Happy”, about every five minutes, on repeat. If you didn’t know the words to the chorus, you now and forever will. My team found ourselves singing the tune for the rest of the evening into the next day! All we could ay about this live installation is, WOW! it was purely captivating!

Guests sipped champagne noshed on ultra fancy tiny hors d’oeuvres  that were beautifully placed on two long dais tables garnished with hydrangea covered candelabra. Celebrities like Diane Kruger, Taylor Schilling, Dree Hemingway, Alexa Chung, and Leandra Medine caused a frenzy walking the red carpet with the designers clothing, some stylishly mixing and matching with their own pieces.

After the long line that wrapped around the inside of the building twice, just to shop  premiere items from the collection,  Peter Pilotto’s over 70 piece collection is sure to be a smash hit in stores country-wide and right on target for Tar-gay’s youthful and fashion forward customer. All items cost under $100USD.
