The first two days of MBFW fell on Rosh Hashanah so I unfortunately was not able to personally attend many shows I was excited about seeing!

Nautica – Black Sail was one of them! Fortunately, I had some blogger friends offer to cover some shows in my place & send me pictures live from the action (to make me feel as if I was there)! Blogger Dana Prigge of DailyFashionista.com attended The Nautica Spring 2014 show for me & here is what she has to say about it…

Hot Spring fashions on hot men took center stage at the Nautica Spring 2014 collection at Lincoln Center. Many a fashion aficionado love the Nautica brand because it’s the perfect marriage; fashion meets function.

I made my way through the excited crowd and took my seat to get a clear view of the fashion show. I spoke to a couple of women varying in age. I’ll admit right here that not only were they excited about previewing the new styles of the season, but also excited about the good-looking models that Nautica is known have walk the runway in their shows.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION:

Layering is key and Nautica gets it right every time! Trending for Spring/Summer 2014 are their use of utility jackets with a modern feel, chinos rolled up and worn with sneakers for a fresh take on a style staple, and a well-cut navy short that literally be worn everywhere during the warmer months. One of the eye catching moments, was when the chiseled models showed-off the latest in Nautica swimwear, which the brand is best known for!

Nautica has upped their style quotient this season with sleek designs that are both very fashionable and wearable for all types of men! Bravo!
