MBFW SS2014: Dara’s Sent Style – No.1

On my first day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week I chose to go for a more modest, traditional look. I had a long weekend of Holidays and I couldn’t break the feeling of them just yet. Being it was such a lovely day and the weather was breezy and slightly warm I wanted to bring pops of color to my mainly all black stylings. Since I had the most shows to attend of any day I wanted to wear something as chic as it was comfortable which at times can be challenging. Chiffon tops as we know are my favorite so that was absolutely a must for this look. What made it even better was the rich shade of purple it was. I do love purple but I don’t find myself wearing it often. To compliment the blouse was a perfect jersey skirt which I made a bit shorter by picking it up all the way under my camisole. This skirt really hits my a few inches below the knee, but I thought it was too long with how flowy the top was. Funky and flashy jewelry brightened up my ensemble for that extra pizzazz!
