THE INCEY WINCEY of CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA & Her Fabulous Collections

I had the pleasure of attending a press preview for British designer, Charlotte Olympia at her 5th Avenue store on Thursday August 22nd, for her newest collections of shoes and clutches!

Charlotte Olympia just came out with a few new collections, the first being a new line of little girl’s shoes & booties in tandem with her women’s line. The perfectly titled line, “INCEY” includes designes inspired by Charlotte’s Web and the classic children’s song, The Itsey Bitsey Spider. Velvet & leather flats embroidered with spider webs & cat faces on the vamp along with outlined fruit cutouts are a perfect addition to any little girl’s shoe closet! There is also a leopard bootie that is so puurrfect for the fall! This collection is charming yet spunky, just like most of Charlotte Olympia’s accessories!

I love kids and children’s fashion always puts a smile in my face! I don’t know about you but, the Itsey Bitsey collection honestly made me feel like I wanted to birth a toddler just so I could buy these shoes for her! Luckily, what makes this collection even more darling is that we don’t need to be a mommy to buy them, or buy them for any other little girl we may know or may be related to! No ma’am, we can purchase a pair in our adult sizes just for ourselves!!! For fashionable mommies of the world, you can absolutely buy a pair of kitten faced flats and match your fashion forward daughter! Do I hears, TWINZIES!?!? Oh, I sure do!!

There were also amazing box clutches “pandoras” that I can’t help but want them all! From wooden to lucite boxes, ones that resemble leather bound books, perfume bottles, and even one asking “Marry Me?”, you are destined to find the perfect clutch for every outfit and every mood! What makes them great is they each come with one to multiple insert pouches so all your personals are kept, well, personal!

Another collection Charlotte has thats adorable and chic as ever is her Cosmic line inspired after the zodiac. You can now wear your zodiac sign on your shoes & pandoras to flaunt your underlying personal characteristics. No more need to be annoyingly asked the worst and most cliché pick up line in the books, “Hey, baby! What’s your sign?”
