A few weeks back I was invited to attend an awesome collection preview at Bauble Bar’s pop up shop in Soho. The new collective designer they were previewing was Sequence Collection.
“Founded in 2011, Sequence is a collection of jewelry and accessories designed by El Salvadorian-born Ariela Suster. After years of working in New York City as fashion and accessories editor at iconic publications such as Instyle, Lucky and Harpers Bazaar, she started Sequence: a line inspired by the vibrant design and culture of Latin America. Her love of ‘70s bohemia—mixed with modern pops of color—is evident in every memorable piece, which is expertly handcrafted by local artisans in Tepecoyo, an El Salvadorian neighborhood near Ariela’s hometown.”
This is why I love Sequence. Made of bunji chord and metal findings all twisted together in their signature knot, makes for a fun wrist soiree every it girl will L.O.V.E! In addition to the vast array of bracelets offered by Sequence, their headbands and statement necklaces are a great addition to any outfit needed that pop of pizazz and color!
I really love how light weight and the easy fit of all the accessories Ariela designs. When wearing my Sequence collection baubles, it takes me to a place of happy. I feel as if I am ready to travel to South America or the tropics in a very stylish and fashion forward way – chic style worrier princes, if you will. On a more gloomy day they brighten up my mood and allow me to feel as if anything can happen!
Attending the party at Bauble Bar was so fun! Assorted drinks sponsored by Godiva were heavenly and the music spun got me in the blogging mood! A fun photo booth that was definitely being taken advantage of by most attendees was my favorite part (other than seeing the sequence collection) I had a blast being silly with my fashion wing-man Johnny Matatov, posing for the camera and making ridiculous faces and poses just because we felt like it!
How I feel about Sequence:
E – eclectic
Q – uiet, it is not!
E – energetic
N – new
C – chic
E – exciting
What a great Motto to live buy!
I can’t wait till the next time I can share an evening with Bauble Bar and Sequence again! They are equally great people! I had so much fun talking about style & fashion with Ariela & the creative director of Bauble Bar, Shoshannah!
